San Diego – Gene Simmons, KISS front man and co-founder, will join the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) in the ever-popular ribbon cutting event 9:45 am (Pacific Time) tomorrow as part of the Indian Gaming 2017 Tradeshow and Convention at the San Diego Convention Center.
Simmons, also a reality television, film and media star is a co-founding partner of the Rock and Brews restaurants. For the first time ever, the Rock and Brews brand is being brought to a casino and resort property on the Kaw Nation in Braman, Oklahoma, located near the Kansas border.
NIGA Chairman, Ernie Stevens, Jr., joined the Kaw Nation and the KISS front man at the groundbreaking event in early January 2017. The Rock and Brews Casino & Resort, located next to I-35 is expected to be complete in two years., will be tied to the Rock and Brews nationwide chain of restaurants.

Rock and Brew’s Restaurant is an American restaurant chain founded by Simmons, Paul Stanley along with others. The restaurant focuses on serving American cuisine and comfort food, alongside the particular location’s kitchen and community, while maintaining a family-friendly concert environment.
In October 2016, San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino became the first casino to host a Rock & Brews, the brand’s ninth restaurant in California. Currently the franchise hosts locations in the Delta terminal at LAX; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; El Segundo, and Redondo Beach, California; Paia, Maui; Orlando, Florida; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many more sites nationwide.
Simmons is best known as the fire breathing performer of the hard rock super group, KISS. In the early 1970’s Simmons crossed paths with like-minded musician/songwriter Paul Stanley to create the legendary group KISS, which sold over 80 million albums and played over 2,000 shows to millions of loyal fans (known as the KISS Army) around the globe.
Simmons will temporarily set aside his KISS duties for a series of solo appearances with the Gene Simmons Band at five Comic Con events throughout the spring, summer and fall 2017.
The National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), established in 1985, is a non-profit organization of 184 Indian Nations with other non-voting associate members representing organizations, tribes and businesses engaged in tribal gaming enterprises from around the country. The common commitment and purpose of NIGA is to advance the lives of Indian peoples economically, socially and politically. NIGA operates as a clearinghouse and educational, legislative and public policy resource for tribes, policymakers and the public on Indian gaming issues and tribal community development.
