ORANGE COUNTY – Today, Assemblyman Phillip Chen (R-Brea) is proud to announce being named the 2017 “Legislator of the Year” by the Orange County Business Council (OCBC).
In a statement, Lucy Dunn, OCBC President and CEO said:
“Assemblyman Phillip Chen has been a leader on issues critical to both the business community, and California’s prosperity. He has shown exemplary character and judgment. We know we cannot agree with legislators on every issue all of the time, but his commitment to dialog and mutual understanding is invaluable and we appreciate his hard work and dedication to ensuring a positive future for his constituents and the state.”
Chen scored a 94% on OCBC’s legislative scorecard, the highest of any Orange County state legislator.

I have made it a priority to make California more business friendly and support common sense legislation that reduces and streamlines regulations to help businesses keep their doors open and create good paying jobs.”
