Chinese American Culture Exchange Association Donates PPE to Los Angeles City Hall

Los Angeles—As the outbreak of COVID-19 spreads throughout the United States, Chinese American Communities in southern California have geared up their response.

Today members of Chinese American Culture Exchange Association donated a batch of personal protective equipment to Los Angeles City Hall.

“Diseases have no borders,” said Susan Wang, president of Chinese American Culture Exchange Association.  “Chinese Americans need to act, play our roles, and make our contributions in fighting against COVID-19”

It is learned the donated PPE will be delivered to local hospitals in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health confirmed six new deaths and 344 new cases of COVID-19.  Over the last 48 hours, there have been 601 new cases.

As of today, 1804 cases have been identified in Los Angeles County, including 32 deaths.
