“Youth Against Hate” Anti-Asian Hate Rally

Los Angeles, CA – With a coalition of youth-led organizations and high school students across LA county, we are co-organizing a COVID-19 safe solidarity space for students in light of the recent hate crimes against Asian Americans titled Youth Against Hate, on May 8, 2021 at Grand Park (200 N. Grand Ave) in Los Angeles.

“Youth Against Hate” Anti-Asian Hate Rally

Our Purpose:

  • Cultivating joy and justice within our communities, in the form of love, solidary, and a willingness to listen.

  • Spreading awareness to youth and adults to mobilize and join the conversation

  • Promoting POC (people of color) solidarity to the younger generation, and united everyone in the understanding that we’re stronger against hate when we’re together

It is imperative now for students to be given a platform to gather, stand in solidarity with all communities of color, and cultivate justice and healing for our communities by making our voices heard. We cannot stay silent. With this campaign, we hope to give space for students to express their anger and hurt, and uplift each other’s stories. Help us spread this message to more youth and create healing for our community.
