626 Golden Streets Returns This Sunday

San Gabriel — Join the cities of San Gabriel, Alhambra and South Pasadena for this car-free, open street event. The route goes from “Mission to Mission,” which means you can begin your adventure on Mission Street in South Pasadena and end at the Mission in San Gabriel or begin from the Mission San Gabriel up to South Pasadena, all while moving through Alhambra.
The route is a mix of residential streets and commercial areas. Each city hosts an activity hub featuring live music, art, vendors, booths, kids activities, and much more.  Further details and information is highlighted below. See you on the Streets!
626 Golden Streets, Mission-to-Mission “Open Streets” returns on Sunday, May 1 from 9 am to 4 pm. There will be five miles of roadway linking the historic South Pasadena and San Gabriel Mission Districts via Mission Drive, Las Tunas Drive and downtown Alhambra.
This is a free, family-friendly open-street event where participants can walk, bike, dance, play, jog, run, socialize and explore. At the San Gabriel Hub, attendees can enjoy:
  • Games – Carnival games, Corn hole, Inflatable rock climb slide.
  • Activities – Public and professional chalk art zone, GoSGV e-bike demo zone, Zero emission mobility zone.
  • Live Music by – Dream Phases, a psychedelic rock band (10:45am-11:30am); Pizza Stains, a bilingual bass drums duo (Noon-12:45pm); Classic hits by Cold Duck (2pm-4pm).
