The Detectives’ Benevolent Association, Inc. – the labor union of 18,000 active and retired NYPD Detectives – is pleased to endorse Denny Salas for the New York State Assembly for the 65th District.
Paul DiGiacomo, President of NYPD-DEA, says, “We trust Denny will fight for the needs and concerns of New York City’s blue-collar laborers, especially those who proudly wear the shields of the NYPD.
We look forward to working closely and productively with him on any and all issues that affect law enforcement.”
Denny adds, “My father-in-law has worn the badge for over 30 years. As Democrats, we need to ensure our law enforcement officials are supported so they can keep our communities safe and make it back home to their families when their shifts end.
Doing both requires true partnership, trust, and supporting one another to bring New York City back from the brink of attacks against innocent seniors and residents.
