California Has 2,292,568 Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 to Date: CDPH

Sacramento, CA—The State of California has 2,292,568 confirmed cases to date, according to its Department of Public Health.

The 7-day positivity rate is 12.6% and the 14-day positivity rate is 12.2%.

There have been 33,058,311 tests conducted in California. This represents an increase of 202,829 over the prior 24-hour reporting period.

There have been 25,971 COVID-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

As of December 30, a total of 335,983 vaccine doses have been administered statewide. As of December 28, a total of 1,762,900 vaccine doses have been distributed to local health departments and health care systems that have facilities in multiple counties.

Based on ICU data, four regions, San Joaquin Valley, Southern California, Greater Sacramento and the Bay Area continue under the Regional Stay at Home Order.
